Here is your Weekly Journal Entry Question #2

Describe your favorite season (fall, spring, summer, or winter). Tell what kinds of things you like to do during that season.


Complete this task just like before, except you don't have to make a new blog page.  Just click "New Post" on the blog you made at the beginning of class.

Good Afternoon!  

We are going to start today with something I will be calling "The Weekly Journal Entry."  Each week, from now on I will be asking you a question, and you will respond to the question on your own blog (creating a new blog post entry each time).  

The Weekly Journal Entry Question for this week is this:  

Which superpower would you most like to have-- invisibility, super strength, or the ability to fly? Describe what kinds of things you would do with your powers. (one paragraph minimum)


Now, in order to answer this question you will need to:

1. log-in to your weebly account.
2. Click the "Pages" tab.
3. "Add a Blog" and save settings.
4. Click on your blog page and select the "new post" button. 
5. Title your post "Weekly Journal Entry #1"
6. Drag down the "Paragraph with Picture" element from the elements bar.
7. Copy and Paste the Journal Entry Question from above.
8. Answer the question with as much detail as possible.
9. Find a superhero picture to add.
10. Finish your entry in no more than 10 minutes (Publish Live).

This assignment is only supposed to take approximately 13 minutes.  So, hurry up!

When you finish: Work on your biography page for a few moments.

Hey everyone! Welcome back from our nice long Thanksgiving weekend.  I hope you had a great thanksgiving.  Click on the comments button at the bottom of this assignment and tell me what the best thing you ate this weekend was (doesn't have to be from your thanksgiving meal).  I already posted what the best thing I ate was.

After you have done that I would like you to log-in to your weebly editor.  We really need to finish those biography pages as soon as possible so we can move onto bigger and more exciting projects.  Today I want to show you how to embed video into your biography page.  You will remember that last week I had you watch a you tube video (Charlie Brown Thanksgiving) right from the 6th grade computer page.  You can do something similar to your webpages.  I will demonstrate today.   In addition I want to demonstrate to everyone in class at once, how to embed your bio-poem onto your webpage as well.

It's almost Thanksgiving!  Below is a little treat for you in celebration of this very special holiday.  Watch it.  Then post a response to my very important question below!

To review, last tuesday we really worked hard on those biography pages.  I reviewed how to embed images, and I demonstrated how to add video.  If you did not finish adding your information to your biography page, that is where you will begin today.  

If you did finish adding the info about your famous historical figure, and you finished adding the video and photos, I have a separate assignment for you that I will call you over to my desk to show you (embedding your bio poem into your webpage).
